Gujarat floats new tender for 500MW of solar power
Ahmedabad: To create more capacity for solar power generation in the state, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has floated a tender for the purchase of 500MW of solar power through competitive bidding. The solar power will be procured from grid-connected solar photovoltaic power projects to be set up in the state. The last date for submission of bids is October 28. Financial bids will be opened on November 10, which will be followed by the reverse e-auction.
